Stoke links with Wigan’s Rodallega, QPR’s Campbell unlikely to amount to anything – Coates

Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has indicated that links made between his club and any players are unlikely to come to anything this winter.

Wigan Athletic’s Hugo Rodallega and QPR’s DJ Campbell have both been linked with the Potters but Coates has made it clear that his club will more than likely not do any business in the January transfer window.

"We are not expecting anything, unless something falls that we like the look of,” he told The Sentinel.

"We have a quite a large squad and feel we are well served with cover."
