Stoke City legend Gordon Banks helped inspire their FA Cup victory over West Ham United.
Banks was invited to the Potters dressing room half-an-hour before Sunday's kick-off at the Britannia by manager Tony Pulis.
"He asked me if I'd go down and have a chat," Banks told The Sentinel, "and of course I was delighted to do so.
"I just wished them well really. All I said was that the crowd was really fantastic here and would get behind them.
"I told them that if they gave the match 100 per cent and really had a go, then we would all get behind them, and that I was sure they had a great chance of walking out at Wembley. They were listening to what I said because after playing there a few times myself, I could tell them what a thrill it is to play at Wembley."
