Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen says he always had faith that the club would remain in the top flight this season.
The Potters are still not out of the woods but now have a six point gap on the relegation zone which should see them stay up with solid performances in the run to the end of the season.
Sorensen has remained positive the whole way and knew that the club could stay up after being promoted this season.
"I always believed in it from the word go," said the Dane.
"There was a lot said that Stoke were going to do another Derby and were going to go straight down.
"If I thought it would be a certain relegation I would have probably chosen elsewhere, but I never had doubts.
"You never really know at the start of the season, but I thought the way we went about things, and the weapons we had would see us through."
