Stoke keeper Sorensen: Attitude all wrong for Norwich defeat

Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen says their attitude was poor in defeat to Norwich City.

Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen says their attitude was poor in defeat to Norwich City.

Sorensen, a sub during the disappointing 1-0 home reverse, says the team's shortcomings were more to do with the players than any managerial strategy on the day.

"We let ourselves down and didn't show the commitment, for whatever reason," Sorensen told The Sentinel.

"That's disappointing because whatever game you play, you have to work hard and earn the right to play.

"But we never really got into the game, the first half was a write-off.

"We were a step behind and were thinking too slow.

"Hopefully it's a wake-up call for next week and the games going forward because they won't be easy.

"We just weren't alert and got over-run. They took our legs away and people were making wrong decisions. I can only put it down to not the game plan, but people not being where they should be."
