Stoke keeper Jack Butland: Not running and working hard enough!

Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland rapped teammates after their defeat to Swansea City.

Swans won 2-0 on Saturday.

Butland said: "Not good enough. Quite simply from start to finish we weren't at the races and no matter who we were up against then we weren't good enough. We've said that in the changing room. It wasn't just the level of performance but the effort.

"We've got to put that right. It's not what we pride ourselves on and we can't accept that."

He added in an interview for Stoke's YouTube channel: "We need for our mental sake and our positional sake to get a win next week.

"You can accept form or missed opportunities but you can't accept just not being at it and not running and working hard enough. There's no doubt we need to increase that next week because this wasn't right."
