Stoke City goalkeeper coach Andy Quy feels Jack Butland should be pushing for an England place.
Now 21, Butland's immediate prospects would appear to hinge largely on where and when he gets his first-team football, whether at the Britannia or out on loan for a fourth time in 18 months.
"A lot of people have speculated about Jack and his future," Quy told The Sentinel. "It comes down to him having the opportunity to play first-team football and, if he gets that, I've got no doubt that he should be pushing to get into the Euros in two years' time.
"You see improvements with him on a daily basis. It's about keeping him focused with the goal of playing for Stoke City and for the goalkeepers to keep driving each other on, which is not a problem here."
