England U21 goalkeeper Jack Butland is looking at the positive aspects of his side's 1-0 defeat to Portugal in the opening game of the U21 European Championships.
Gareth Southgate's side went down 1-0 to Portugal with Joao Mario scoring the game's only goal on 57 minutes after Bernardo Silva's shot struck the post.
"We put our bodies on the line," said Stoke City's Butland. "[Silva's shot] comes off the post and rebounds to him. It is unlucky it came to one of them.
"There is no finger pointing at anyone. We keep clean sheets together and we win together.
"If we keep going forward like that we will be fine."
England will now prepare to take on Sweden in Olomouc, Czech Republic on Sunday.
