Stoke keeper Butland applauds Arsenal counterpart Cech

Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland heaped praise on Petr Cech after the Arsenal star broke the Premier League clean sheet record.

Cech's shutout in the Gunners' 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Monday night was his 170th in England's top flight, surpassing the previous record set by David James.

To pay tribute to the former Chelsea number one, Potters young gun Butland posted a message of congratulations on Twitter for the record-breaking Czech Republic international.

Cech, who joined Arsenal from the Blues in the summer, has now kept eight clean sheets for the North Londoners having produced 162 shutouts during his 11-year spell at Stamford Bridge.
