Stoke keeper Begovic: Newcastle will be incredibly difficult

Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic says they face a stiff test tonight against Newcastle United.

City had already achieved impressive results against Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in the Premier League and will be eager therefore to get back on the right track in front of their own supporters when they take on Alan Pardew's in-form side.

"They are unbeaten this season so it will be incredibly difficult for us," Bosnian star Begovic told the latest edition of Potters Matchday Magazine.

"They have brought in some fantastic players in the summer and they are a very good, strong and organised side. You only have to look at their results this season and take a look at the league table to see what sort of test this will be for us."

He added: "We have done pretty well this season, especially at home, and one or two people may expect us to win Monday's game. We will hopefully do that, but we are under no illusions as to how good a team Newcastle are.

"They aren't a one man team, they have players in every position who we need to keep an eye on. The lads they signed in the summer have gelled together very well, and without doubt this will be one of the toughest games of our season so far."
