Stoke City goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann says fellow Austrian Marko Arnautovic is nothing like his public persona

Bachmann believes his compatriot's previously wild reputation was an unfair media creation.

He told The Sentinel: "Marko and me do quite a bit of talking in the changing room, but also there's Philipp Wollscheid now who speaks German, Asmir is more or less fluent and Thomas can also speak German.

"Marko is a nice guy and comes from somewhere only half-an-hour from where I come from.

"Some people might say he's a different character, some people might say no he isn't.

"He has got a reputation, but the media pushes at things and things are not as bad as what he actually did."
