Stoke City are in talks for Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.
The Telegraph says Potters boss Mark Hughes has already made contact over a season-long loan for the out-of-favour Frenchman.
Sakho missed the end of last season through a drugs ban, while he is currently on the sidelines due to a heel injury.
He was sent home from the Reds' tour of America last month as well, with Jurgen Klopp apparently unimpressed by his behaviour.
And that has opened the door for him to kickstart his career with a temporary spell at the Bet365 Stadium.
