Stoke City are eyeing Real Madrid midfielder Jose Rodriguez.

The Spain U21 international spent last season on-loan with Deportivo La Coruna and comes off contract at Real this month.

Rodriguez, 20, is on the radar of Stoke, but is also interesting Schalke, AS Monaco and Besiktas.

The midfielder won't be returning to Real with the Castilla remaining in the Segunda B next season.

Rodriguez managed 25 appearances for Depor last season.
