Stoke hopeful PSG target Arnautovic will follow Bojan in signing new deal

Stoke City believe Bojan Krkic's commitment to the club will prompt Marko Arnautovic to follow suit.

The Spanish forward signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Potters on Thursday and manager Mark Hughes suggests it is this type of pledge that could be the catalyst for other key players to stay put at the Britannia Stadium.

Austrian ace Arnautovic is a reported target for French giants Paris Saint-Germain and has a buyout clause of just £12.5million, indicating he could be off in the summer, but Hughes hopes Bojan's decision to stay will be seen by others as a positive sign.

"I think it is a message to everybody that we have a lot to offer here," he said after Bojan penned the deal.

"We are a side trying to progress, bring good players in and improve what we are capable of.

"When guys who have done well for me re-contract and commit once again, that is a message for everyone."
