Stoke hero Begovic deflects praise to teammates for Chelsea point

Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic hailed his teammates for their effort in gaining a point against Chelsea.

Whilst the Bosnian was forced into two world class saves during the second 45 minutes, he recognised the job that was carried out in front of him by his team-mates and was quick to lavish praise on them for their efforts.

"It's an absolute honour to play behind the team we have here," he told stokecityfc.com. "The work ethic and dedication they showed out there today was absolutely phenomenal really.

"They defended unbelievably well and restricted a world class side to just a handful of chances from outside of the penalty area, and that takes some doing.

"We look very tight at the moment, That's three competitive games now and three consecutive clean sheets, so from a defensive side of things we really can't ask for any more than that."
