Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason has refuted the claims that Stoke City have a psychological advantage over Spurs.
The North London club are set to face the Potters in a Premier League encounter on Saturday and ahead of the contest, Mason has played down suggestions the visitors have the upper hand.
Stoke did a double over Spurs last season, but Mason believes that will have no implications over the upcoming fixture.
Asked if Stoke have any kind of psychological advantage, he told the club's official website: "I wouldn't say anyone does, they just out-performed us both times they played us.
"I'm sure if we perform to our true abilities then we can win the game. As we do every week, we'll just concentrate on ourselves and make sure we do as best we can."
