Jonathan Walters has been rewarded with a one-year contract extension by Stoke City.
The 27-year old striker enjoyed a successful campaign last term, scoring 12 goals in all competitions, following his move from Ipswich Town last summer.
The new deal keeps Walters at the Britannia Stadium until summer 2015 and Potters manager Tony Pulis is delighted for the ex-Blackburn Rovers and Bolton man.
"Jon's rise to prominence is an inspiration to others. He has had to battle his way back up from the lower leagues through hard work and dedication," Pulis told the club's official website.
