Stoke City are eyeing Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie.
The Daily Mail says the 32-year-old Holland international is interested in a return to the Premier League and has been discussed by Middlesbrough, West Ham and Crystal Palace.
However, his wages have been a stumbling block for sides so far.
Boro are interested in a move for the Holland striker as they look to bolster their attack in preparation for the return of Premier League football this season.
Van Persie has been hindered by niggly injuries but still managed 16 goals in his debut season in the Turkish Super Lig having left Manchester United after three years at the club.
