Stoke City have been forced to drop their pursuit of Nigerian star Sunday Mba.
The Daily Star says the Potters have given up on signing Sunday Mba from Enugu Rangers after he was told he would not be granted a work permit.
Mba has also been linked with Arsenal this year.
