Stoke fans sellout Brit for Spurs visit

Stoke City fans continue to back their players after selling out the Brit for this weekend's clash with Tottenham.

It's the third sell-out at the Britannia Stadium this season.

Potters chief executive Tony Scholes told The Sentinel: "I want to thank you, the supporters, for backing us in numbers so far this season.

"In fact in percentage terms we are fifth in the division for how full our stadium has been, behind only Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Sunday's visitors Spurs.

"We are gaining a reputation throughout the top flight as being a ferocious bunch, and the atmosphere which you are generating here has been picked up by people from clubs and media all over the country.

"Everywhere I go at the moment people are mentioning our support and that is something we as a club are extremely proud of."
