Sunderland outcast Phil Bardsley is weighing up his next move.

The Daily Mail says Bardsley is reported to be a target for neighbours Newcastle United.

But the former Manchester United defender, who played for the development squad against Spennymoor at the weekend, is more likely to return to the North West to join Blackburn Rovers, although Stoke City and Fulham still remain interested in signing him.
