Stoke expect Crouch back for Villa clash
Stoke City boss Peter Crouch to be fit for the Boxing Day visit of Aston Villa.
The 30-year old missed the midweek loss to Manchester City because of illness in a week which also saw his house burgled but Potters boss Tony Pulis predicts he will be available for Monday night’s meeting with Villa.
"I have not spoken to him about the burglary. That is never a good thing and is something that is regrettable.
"I will have a chat with him and see where he is, but I will be very surprised if he is not up and ready to go for the Villa game on Boxing Night.""He came in on Monday with headaches and we got it all sorted out. Hopefully, fingers crossed, he will be training today,” he said.
