The agent of Aaron Hunt expects contract talks with Werder Bremen in January.

The striker, whose family has an English background, has been linked with Stoke City and Everton in recent weeks with his deal due to expire in June.

Denying local reports of an agreement with VfL Wolfsburg, Karlheinz Förster revealed: "For Aaron, Werder remains the primary contact.

"And we will certainly have talks during the winter break."
