Stoke City defender Andy Wilkinson is being tracked by Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle.

The News of the World says Bolton are one of several clubs tracking Wilkinson, 25, who has not been guaranteed a starting place this season, losing out occasionally to Tony Pulis's £5million signing Robert Huth.

The defender has a deal until 2012 with Stoke but there is increasing interest in him.
