Stoke City defender Marc Muniesa is delighted for Mame Biram Diouf and his return to the scoresheet.

Diouf struck in the draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.

"It was his first start as a striker for a long time and he deserves the goal," said Muniesa. "He's a top professional, a top player and you can't believe the amount he runs.

"I'm very happy for him to get on the scoresheet.

"Last time I called him Cafu when he played at right-back, this time he's just Diouf. We were all very happy for him."
