Stoke City defender Marc Muniesa was delighted to score in victory over Burnley.

The popular defender has been called out of the cold over the last fortnight to help Stoke to two straight wins and clean sheets.

Muniesa told The Sentinel: "It's not just me, I think there are four or five players who have not had many chances this season and now we are having the opportunity, we're playing well and winning. We are making the decisions for the coach very difficult – but we have 25 players in the squad who can play so it's good for us and for the coach.

"We're ninth at the moment but I think we have five tough games against five tough teams and that will show us if we're strong enough to be there."
