Stoke City defender Jordan Keane is happy with his loan move to Tamworth.
The 20-year-old joined the Lambs last Friday in time to make his first team debut in a 4-1 victory over Solihull Moors in the FA Cup final qualifying round the following day.
"I've been playing for Stoke in the under-21s Premier League and you come up against some top class players to be fair," he told the Tamworth Herald.
"But I think playing first team football for Tamworth will be even bigger for me.
"It's a chance to test myself in a physical league and, as a defender, that's what you want.
"You want to be challenged physically to see where you are. You don't just want to be in tippy tappy kind of games every week.
"So I am looking forward to playing for Tamworth."
