Stoke City defender Robert Huth hopes for a chance at centre-half.

The giant German has played there only once before for Stoke, and that was in a rare three-man central defence, while his last five starts have all come in the unfamiliar slot at full-back.

"Obviously centre-half is my favourite position," Huth told The Sentinel.

"Hopefully I will get my chance there. I am certainly looking forward to playing there again."
