Stoke City defender Robert Huth has hopes of making Germany's World Cup squad.
Huth, a dark horse for City's player-of-the-year prize, is now hoping this season's consistency can win him a place in Germany's World Cup line-up.
He missed out on the last international get-together and there has been no recent contact from Germany's management team.
"I think the manager Joachim Low picks 30 or 32 to go away for two weeks of training," Huth told The Sentinel, "and then he picks his final squad for the finals.
"I think I will be in the first squad, but I don't know about the final squad.
"I wasn't in the last squad and that was a big indication of who he would probably take, but there is still time for him to change his mind."
