Stoke defender Huth happy for Villas-Boas over Chelsea appointment

Stoke City defender Robert Huth is happy for Andre Villas-Boas over his appointment at Chelsea.

Stoke defender Huth played under Villas-Boas when he was assistant boss to Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.

The German said: "I spent a little bit of time under Mourinho at Chelsea when Andre was his assistant.

"He was a very impressive and organised individual, he had everything in his head and would always talk to us and prepare us for games.

"He is extremely young but that does not mean anything because he has shown his credentials at Porto.

"Now he has been given the chance to do something similar at Chelsea.

"I think he has all the qualities to be a success there, just like he was at Porto.

"But hopefully things don't start off so well for him when they come here in August."
