Stoke City defender Danny Higginbotham is confident manager Tony Pulis can make the right additions to the squad.
The Potters have been heavily linked with Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy and Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson.
And Higginbotham added: "The club has got to keep progressing.
"The manager has made some great signings over the years and I am sure he will again."
