Stoke City defender Dionatan Teixeira has joined Fleetwood Town on-loan.

The 23-year-old, who was born in Brazil, is hoping for his first real taste of English senior football after moving to League Two.

He joins on an initial one month deal alongside Leicester's former Port Vale defender Joe Davis, son of Crewe boss Steve.

Teixeira has made only one appearance for Stoke's first team since joining at the start of last season.
