Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron is happy seeing Jack Butland prove himself this season.
The goalkeeper has been outstanding for the Potters this season.
"In the last couple of years he's become a pretty good friend of mine," says Cameron to The Sentinel, "and you could see how hard he works and the determination that he has.
"He was always pushing for Asmir Begovic's spot. With Asmir's pedigree and him being the number one, I think it pushed Jack a little bit more to get better.
"He wanted to get involved with the England national team and this is his year to shine. He's taken the chance with both hands."
