Stoke City have secured Oliver Shenton to a contract.
The 15 year-old prospect is already playing with the under-18s after impressing in midfield.
Academy director Dave Wright says: "It's certainly fair to say that he has been attracting a lot of attention from other clubs, but he's happy at Stoke and we're delighted that he has signed a new contract with us.
"Oliver's parents recognise that he's in safe hands with us and want him to continue his development as a footballer and person with Stoke City."
