Stoke City are confident of landing Hoffenheim striker Demba Ba.

The Daily Mail says Stoke are hopeful of concluding a £6million deal for Ba after holding talks yesterday.

Ba, 25, spent the morning at Stoke's training ground and underwent medical tests.

West Ham United were also hoping to talk to Ba but Stoke seem to be favourites.
