Stoke City are in talks this week with Orlando City over the departure of Brek Shea.
Shea's loan with Birmingham City was completed at the weekend.
The Sentinel says toke remain in negotiations for winger Shea to return to America and join Orlando City, possibly permanently, following his failure to make a mark on these shores since joining from Dallas two years ago.
