Stoke City coach Mark O'Connor is confident they'll strengthen the team before their Premiership kickoff against Bolton Wanderers.

"We may have been over here (Austria) training for the past week but there has still been a lot happening on the transfer front," he told Stoke City World.

"There will definitely be some new arrivals before the season kicks off in three weeks time.

"This squad of players has got us where we are now and we mustn't forget that, but we still need to add more quality and more depth.

"There are a lot of things bubbling at the moment, and hopefully one or two of them will drop for us in the next week."
