Stoke City are closing on a deal for Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu.

Badu has a year to run on his Udinese deal and has been made available this summer.

Stoke have tabled a €6.5 million bid for the versatile midfielder.

Badu could move to the Potters as a replacement for wantaway Steven N'Zonzi.

Badu has also been linked with Watford, which has close ties with Udinese.
