Stoke City are believed to be close to agreeing a season-long loan with Benfica for striker Nelson Oliveira.
The Daily Mail suggests that the Potters will edge out Premier League new boys Cardiff City for the 21-year old Portugal international.
Oliveira has been with Benfica's senior side since 2009 but has spent time on loan with Rio Ave, Pacos Ferreira and Deportivo La Coruna where he scored four goals in 30 La Liga appearances last season.
