Stoke City are set to win the battle for Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi.
Ameobi, 26, looks set to sign on loan for the rest of the season. Ipswich and Norwich were also eyeing the hitman.
But Toon boss Kevin Keegan has finally given Ameobi the green light to leave - and Stoke expect to win the race later today, says The Sun.
