Stoke City striker Peter Crouch hopes his move to the Brit leads to an England recall.
Stoke's new striker has not played for his country for a year despite a staggering tally of 22 goals in 42 games.
Asked if his two goals in a week against Manchester United and Besiktas are a reminder to Capello ahead of tomorrow's squad announcement, the striker said: "No, but I am still thinking about England.
"I still believe I've got goals to offer. Mine's a record that stands up against anyone and if given the opportunities I believe I'll take them."
