Stoke City News: Zouma setback; Butland insists Burnley didn't deserve win

Stoke City defender Kurt Zouma has pulled up with a hamstring injury.

Zouma was forced off with a hamstring injury in Stoke's defeat at Burnley.

The central defender clutched his right hamstring and fell to the ground in pain after going in for a challenge.

Meanwhile, Potters goalkeeper Jack Butland insists they didn't deserve defeat last night.

“On the back of the weekend we had to obviously put things right because the performance and result wasn't good, but we felt that the performance was much better tonight," the 24-year-old told Stoke City+.

“The conditions were horrible against a team who play in a really tough manner. I thought we matched them physically and they've had nothing other than one chance but they scored it. We certainly didn't deserve to lose the game.

"There have been other occasions this season when the performances haven't been up to par and we have rightly lost but I thought we didn't deserve to lose tonight and hopefully we'll get back on track soon."
