Adam infamously missed last weekend's late spot kick against Brighton after he and Jese fought over who should take the penalty.
Crouch wrote for the Daily Mail: "Nothing has been said about who will take the next penalty we get but, if Charlie is on the pitch, I would certainly back him. And knowing him as I do, he will be backing himself!
"He's scored plenty of penalties before and will score more in the future."
Meanwhile, January signing Badou Ndiaye has no regrets joining Stoke's relegation fight.
Former Galatasaray midfielder Ndiaye said: “I know what I have come into and I'm up for the fight.
“It's not the place we should be but we just have to win games. That's what we have to do: win games. If we can win a couple we can build from that but we have to win. It's very tight in the table. From 10 place to 19 it's very tight.
“We just have to do our part by winning every game we can and then we'll be good."
