Tottenham striker Robbie Keane would have to be one of football's most linked players with the emergence of Stoke City as a potential landing pad.
The Republic of Ireland skipper is almost certain to leave White Hart Lane in January but where he ends up remains a mystery as more than a handful of clubs are showing interest.
The latest is Stoke who have joined the rush to sign the 30-year old former Leeds United star. The Potters join Aston Villa, Blackburn, Wolves, West Ham and MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps as serious contenders for his signature.
Keane continually struggles for regular game time under Harry Redknapp and with the revitalized Roman Pavlyuchenko showing strong form and the arrival of Rafael van der Vaart, it seems he will only move further down the pecking order.
