Stoke City chief Tony Scholes says their transfer market work is ongoing.
"Yes, we are looking at players," he told Stoke City World.
"It might be the summer but Tony (Pulis) and his team of people are still working very hard.
"There are still games that we are following and still international games that we've got scouts looking at. The work is being done, conversations are being held but you won't be surprised to hear me say that I won't comment on any individuals until any deals are done.
"I think it's always dangerous in any sport to rest on your laurels.
"You need to change things around, you need to keep things fresh and no doubt that Tony will be looking to improve wherever we can."
