Stoke City chief Tony Scholes is delighted to have secured Florent Cuvelier to a new contract.
The Belgian has been likened to Arsenal star Jack Wilshere.
Scholes told the Stoke website: "Florent is only 19 years old and whilst he may not yet have featured in the first team, he has already demonstrated, both here in training and out on loan with Walsall, that he has a bright future in the game.
"It is important that we both attract and retain the best young talent, and I am delighted that Flo sees Stoke City as the best place for him to develop his career.'
