Turkey international Mevlut Erdinc is on Stoke City boss Mark Hughes' radar.
The Daily Mail says Stoke scouts went to watch the Rennes forward during Wednesday's international between Turkey and Ghana but the 26-year-old only came on as a late substitute.
Erdinc has been a target for Newcastle in recent seasons and scored in Rennes' opening league game against Stade de Reims last week.
