Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is eyeing Manchester City striker Ched Evans.
The Manchester Evening News says Pulis is chasing the Wales international, along with Manchester City captain Richard Dunne.
Stoke's interest in Dunne, who won City's Player of the Year award for four successive seasons before Stephen Ireland took this year's prize, is a clear indication that Pulis is setting his sights high in the transfer market.
Last week, Pulis offered United midfielder Paul Scholes a player-coach role at The Britannia Stadium, and is also chasing Marseille striker Djibril Cisse, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland.
