Stoke chasing ex-Liverpool defender Kyrgiakos

Stoke City are interested in former Liverpool defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos .

The People says Kyrgiakos wants to come back to the Premier League – after a brief stay in Germany with Wolfsburg.

The big Greek defender quit the Kop last summer, but the move to the Bundesliga has not worked out.

Kyrgiakos, 32, was a cult hero at Anfield and hopes his all-action style may find him a home at another Premier League side – with Stoke City among others alerted to his availability.
