Stoke City chairman Peter Coates says their summer transfer plans are well underway.
Potters boss Tony Pulis is yet to make any significant signing so far.
But Coates says Stoke are considering a number of players but has stayed quiet on the identity of specific targets.
He explained: "We have plenty of irons in the fire, but it clearly wouldn't be wise to divulge names just yet."
