Stoke City chairman Peter Coates believes it will be easier second time round as a Premiership club in the summer market.

He said: "It does help us that people know we have done it before and can do it again. But people know me well enough to know I won't comment on players.

"We do get linked with players, but you can never be certain of who you are going to secure until you have actually signed them."
